Hello, I am JoAnn. I was born in Milwaukee, WI but grew up in Coloma with my grandma, aunt, uncle, and lots of cousins. I am an only child, but I have a huge extended family. I currently live in Westfield with my boyfriend of 5 years and our 3 dogs, Luna, Brownie, and Buster. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, swimming, art, going on walks, and just hanging out with friends. I am a fun outgoing person who enjoys spending time with family, friends, and my dogs.

                I graduated in May of 2023 with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mid-State Technical Collage.

                I am very passionate about what I do, teaching children has been something I have always loved. Making an early difference in a child’s education is so important to me. Being the 1^st teacher, they have during that educational journey gives me the opportunity to really make an impression on each child's life. I love being a part of the developmental milestones that they will hit along the way, and being able to watch them accomplish those hard goals in a fun and creative way that they will remember for years to come.

                My favorite part about being a teacher is doing the hands-on art experiences and learning activities that enhance each child`s development. I love using a variety of materials to create fun process art activities and being able to see each child’s creativity grow.  Being able to have conversations with the children and learning more about how they think and who they are. Each child is unique and seeing each one show off their differences and ways of thinking is so fun to see.
